I know where the turn of phrase, "A watched pot..." comes from....

This baby is gonna arrive in the middle of Easter dinner and that will set the tone for his whole life. I can't wait to hear how it goes. You have my sympathy. They should not tell us a due date because, to us, it becomes written in stone. They should not tell us "9 months" because it's 40 weeks which is actually 10 months, right?

I'm guessing there's been a pot that has finally boiled? Praying all good things came your way!

Agree with piddler up there--HI PIDDLER! OBs should automatically attach 2 weeks to the due date because then everyone will either go on time or earlier and that will make every mom a little bit less freaked. My third baby came ELEVEN days late. Those 11 days of waiting was worse than three whole pregnancy's time!
