Needed: sleepers to try out the new beds

I told you a couple of weeks ago that I was going to order some new beds for the girls from AllChildrensFurniture.com.

I don't usually order furniture online, but I was really happy with these results. Besides the very reasonable price of the headboards (I ordered frames, too) I really liked that there was NO SHIPPING charges. There's nothing worse than finding a bargain online and then having to pay a boatload in shipping fees. Anyway, it came within 3 days of my order in perfect condition and besides a few curse words from Sean while assembling, it was a very easy process all of the way around.

All we need now is for two little heads to start sleeping on those new little pillows and we are all set...

Disclosure: I was ordering these beds anyway, and CSN offered a discount for an honest review. They got one, and so do you.

A little Earth Day fun with the kiddos

Looking for a great way to help celebrate and educate Earth Day with your little ones? PBS’s Sid the Science Kid will air its Earth Day-themed episode, “The Dirt on Dirt,” on April 22.

We just recently discovered Sid in our house, and I have to tell you, my kids and I really like this program. It’s produced by The Jim Henson Company, so you know you are getting quality content in your kids’ entertainment. This episode in particular was particularly informative and entertaining.

So watch the show and learn what makes dirt so dirty and then go online with your kids for more Earth Day related activities on www.pbskids.org/sid.

You won’t have to look much farther for good clean fun.

Diva on location

So I am the queen of multi-tasking (all mothers are, we get a handbook in the maternity ward) but I kind of suck at multi-focusing. I need to get through one event before shifting complete focus to the next.

I've been kind of absorbed getting through our latest filming event for Newbaby.com We're doing product reviews, which is a pretty cool gig. There's a fun market of innovative products for babies that we get to test on Jessie. Luckily it's stuff like teething rings and nap mats, and not any aeresols or drug trials.

I think we had a good camera day today. The camera man assured me he used the narrow-ass lens.
